The National Health Agency of the Ministry of Health and Welfare has commissioned the Genetic Counseling Center of Taipei Veterans General Hospital to implement the "109-111 Rare Disease Care Service Program" in order to strengthen the care for patients with rare diseases and their families, as well as to prevent the occurrence of rare diseases. Rare disease case managers will understand the patients' and families' situations and provide comprehensive medical care services according to individual needs, including disease information, psychological support, care consultation, and reproductive care.
