Let Love Illuminate the Rare
To strengthen the care for patients with rare diseases and their families, as well as to prevent the occurrence of rare diseases, the National Health Agency of the Ministry of Health and Welfare has specially commissioned the Genetic Information Center of Taipei Veterans General Hospital to implement the "109-111 Rare Disease Care Service Program". Rare disease case managers will understand the patients' and families' situations and provide comprehensive medical care services according to individual needs, including:
Disease information
Psychological support
Care consultation
Reproductive care
To improve the quality of life for patients with rare diseases and their families.
Service hours are from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm on weekdays, and the response time on weekdays is approximately one hour.
