Taipei Veterans General Hospital an ongoing, longlasting undertaking.

Management

Medical departments, technical units and administrative units of this hospital apply the rules of delegation of authorization, duties and responsibility to run their operation.

The highest policymaking authority of this hospital is the monthly staff meeting, under which there are multi- committees cooperatively to oversee the healthcare operations, enhance service qualities and implement the medical affairs of this hospital.

 

「Commitment to excellence, caring patients as if they were our family 」are the highest service guidelines of this hospital. In order to maintain existing honor and pursue higher achievements, each department or unit have their own standard operation principles (SOP), review and modify those SOPs every year.

We hold patients’ satisfaction surveys periodically, and improve our service according to the results quality.

We execute on-job training of the staffs to inspire their potentials and creativities.

To retain our national medical center status, we request our medical staff to have continued education in other advanced countries with the newest medical technology.

 

Taipei Veterans General Hospital is a government agency which is responsible for its profit and losses.

To run continuously, this hospital sets up a dedicated section to be responsible for cost-control to broaden the sources of income and economize on expenditure.   

As a part of our initiatives in renovating medical informatics, we implement entirely computerized to save manpower, improve efficiency, transparency on personnel affairs and public. The staff can deliver their opinions and suggestions smoothly via superintendent mailbox.

We encourage our staffs to devote themselves to research and innovation, award and commend staffs of excellent service performance, inspire their morale, and create a peaceful atmosphere of this hospital.

We abide by the business management model to run this hospital and customer-oriented medical care to push prevention medicine, community healthcare service, and to ensure the health of citizens, improve the health and well-being of mankind.
