Rehabilitation and Technical Aid Center

The center provides tailor-made assistive device service in a medical center. Our services include medical services, assistive device evaluation, assistive device provision (protheses, orthotics, mobility assistive devices), assistive device inspection, maintenance tour services, etc.  The center is also a specialized institution for technical training in the making of prosthetic equipment and assistive devices, and in providing technical support to clinical specialists.

The assistive device service team of this center is marked by its professionalism. The core staff members include physicians, researchers, physical/occupational therapists (including Class A assistive device assessors), medical technicians, prosthetic outfitters, assistive device technicians, social workers, and administrative staff.

The types of our services include physician diagnosis, physical/occupational therapy, and prosthetic equipment production by professional technicians. We also provide various assistive devices (such as tailor-made assistive devices, ready-to-use assistive devices, and related consumables for assistive devices), assistive equipment self-collection/distribution, assistive equipment rental, inspection and maintenance tours to anywhere of the nation. The center assists patients in applying for government subsidies and social welfare. The center conducts satisfaction surveys and tracks the care received by patients. In addition, the center also cooperates with the academic community in the development of new assistive devices.

The center provides medical services and medical personnel training, and engages in medical research and development. It also helps to implement national health policies, emphasizes equality in medical treatment and human rights protection, provides support services for the physically disabled, improves the quality of medical services in remote areas, and establishes the sharing of medical resources. To fulfill the government's responsibility to take care of everyone's health and provide comprehensive, complete and, seamless services with respect to assistive devices.
