The Dentistry Department has five divisions: Restorative Dentistry, Endodontics & Periodontics, Pedodontics & Orthodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and Family Dentistry, to provide complete medical and surgical care for children and adults with dental problems. The department has 113 dental chairs, 22 beds and 2 operating rooms exclusively for oral and maxillofacial surgeries as well as pediatric dental surgeries. As a teaching institution, the department accepts a maximum of 50 dental interns for a one-year training program. The department continues to promote adult patient full mouth reconstruction therapy, esthetic dentistry, and the prevention of oral cancer.
