Neonatal Intensive Care UnitThe Pediatrics Department provides daily outpatient and inpatient care for children, and has six divisions: General Pediatrics, Pediatric Cardiology, Pediatric Gastroenterology & Nutrition, Pediatric Immunology & Nephrology, Pediatric Infectious Diseases and Neonatology. Special services include pediatric cardiology, gastroenterology, nephrology, hematology, immunology, pulmonologist, asthma, infectious diseases, genetics, endocrinology, neonatology, critical care, physical check up and vaccinations..

  In the emergency room, senior pediatricians provide services 24 hours per day. The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provide the best intensive care for children and neonates with critical illnesses. The Pediatrics Department not only strives to provide excellent specialized health care for pediatric patients, but also promotes research on pediatric medicine and has produced outstanding results, including transcatheter therapy for congenital heart disease, percutaneous ambulatory peritoneal dialysis for uremic children, immunization against hepatitis B and other infectious diseases, management of Kawasaki disease, research on causative factors in on peptic ulcers, pediatric bronchoscopy and airway stenting, high-frequency oscillatory ventilation and animal studies on liquid ventilation, and artificial valves for heart disease.
